This year is the inaugural 11 Tors Charity Walk organised by DSRT Tavistock. It is a major event aimed at people who love Dartmoor and the outdoors. It will help us raise much needed funds, as well as helping Dartmoor National Park – a portion of the entry fee goes to Donate for Dartmoor.

There are 2 walks available, both starting and finishing at Princetown. The walks are open to anyone, although children under 18 years of age must be in a family group.

Checkpoints will be manned with DSRT (Tavistock) Personnel. Other DSRT (Tavistock) personnel and marshalls will be on hand at road crossings and the only water crossing to ensure safety.

To take part, you must register your team either online or by downloading a Booking Form for your chosen walk length. Places are limited and registration closes on 31st August 2017.

Challengers are asked to form teams of between 4 and 6 members. Each team member is requested to donate £11 each for the walk (£4 each for children). At the end of the Challenge each team participant will receive a commemorative silicon wristband.

Event T-shirts are also available to buy before the Challenge. These are priced at £10 each and are locally produced using 100% cotton.
